  • In a classic example of Lapis value engineering. We helped the clients progress their apartment countertops from laminate to granite and subsequently quartz whilst maintaining attractive economics.
  • Kitchen backsplashes have been upgraded from ceramics to the more attractive glass and marble backsplash subway tiles again at prices much lower than historic suppliers.
  • Locally sourced 2mmm, ‘glue down’ LVT was replaced with 5mm, click-system with ‘acoustic backing’ providing higher performance, easier installation and lower cost culminating in the most recent order of more than 1,000,000 square feet.

  • During the first project with this client, Lapis was able to providing quartz in place of the granite that had previously been requested and at a significant discount across 250 units.
  • Success leads to client extending the order for another 500 units across their new development. Material that is currently being cut and shipped to the US.

  • Provision of mirrors incorporating LED lights further elevated the apartments and allowed the client to secure significantly higher rental rates than expected.
